Because of you, I laugh, I smile, I dare to dream again.
I look forward with great joy to spending the rest of my
life with you, caring for you, nurturing you, being there for you in all life
has for us, and I vow to be true and faithful for as long
as we both shall live.
i love you.

We have been sooo busy this weekend.. tot that after a long week at work, we can relax at home and have good cuppa or something.. but this weekend proves to be a short and busy one with us going crazy over the wedding preps.. but it makes it worthwhile as it is a fruitful weekend. :)

Woke up and got ready by 12 plus. Went to have lunch at Toa Payoh... (i love the chicken rice). Decided to go to essex walk to collect my wedding shoes since this week we will be out of town.. tried the shoes.. it was lovely.. the right height and the right size... ( yes the auntie yan yee at essex walk is still harping on how sweet kevin is, surprising me with the shoes.. makes me cringe when she whispered to me and said he sweet... if she is not an auntie.. i will think she is having a crush on my hubby!! heheh) anyway.. she advised us to go and get rubber soles for the shoes as it is abit slippery.. so we decided to walk over to taka.. mister mint to have that done.. When we reach mister mint.. and deciding between which sole to choose ( yes its not as simple as one piece, one color that type).. when i discovered.. that there is ONE crystal missing from the side of the left shoe!!!!... no choice.. had to bring back to essex walk again.. but counting ourselves lucky that we did not do the sole yet.. and auntie yan yee said she need one week to fix the crystal.. i was like.. ONE week to fix ONE crystal???? hmm.. tats efficient!! anyway.. we don't mind as we won't be back till Friday but I told her I need the shoes by Friday for my fitting!! anyway.. a little preview on how my shoesss will look like...
i am getting the silver ones.. lovely hor?? keke..will post pictures of the shoes on my feet when i get them k??
well after the eventful shoe incident.. we went to my mummy shop with freshly bought kong bah bao for them.. my 3th uncle and auntie were there and they were advising my mum on the GUO DA LI stuff.. so we sat there for hmm 3-4 hours listening and taking notes.. hmm.. it was terrible.. so many things to remember.. after the lond advice session.. we finally sat my mum and dad down to talk about their guests list... which GRASP!!! is more than 10 tables!! I sure hope that we might have spares so that my poor daddy (who is not able to invite some friends coz my mum took his quota) can invite some of his friends.. hmm.. anyway.. my mum and dad finally got into the swing of things.. and was so enthu about it now.. ohh btw.. my mum tot my wedding was on the 26th!! Can you believe it?? sigh.. anyway.. they were discussing about whether to have teochew cakes or cantonese cakes and we decided we should go and buy some tomorrow for them to sample.. well I am happy that my parents are finally getting into the mood and talking to them about the wedding does bring us closer and kevin closer to them too..
to be continued for Sunday.. need some zzzzzz
12:11 am
i pledge my love for you.

Our wedding blog is finally up.. duno how long have you all been waiting.. but yea... i finally decided that enuff is enuff.. i must start on it.. then slowly beautify it..
so for all those who haven got the slightest idea on what's happening or what have been happening.. here is a brief history...
Started our wedding preps as early as June/July 2005.. wanted to set a date and source for venues.. well i always wanted Fullerton hotel.but well its abit out of our budget.. anyway.. we went to several hotels.. combing all the hotels along Orchard Road, from Traders' Hotel, to Hilton, to Four Seasons, to Mariott, to Hyatt, to Pan Pac, to Raffles the Plaza, to Oriental and even to Amara and M Hotel. The search for the Perfect venue was endless but in the end, we decided on 3 hotels, Hyatt, Raffles the Plaza, and Pan Pac. In the end, we decided to go for Raffles the Plaza, whose has amazing rates and perks for Friday dinner... yes the initial date was 16th December 2006 ( which marks our 10th year together), then 15th December 2006, Friday. Our dates shifted again from 15th December 2006 - > 24th November 2006, Friday to lastly -> 25th November 2006.
So we liases with Dannis, the catering director and signed the agreement on the 12th September 2005, one whole year before our wedding.
so with the venue set,we managed to secure the rest of the stuff that we need easily.
We have Ted Wu as my bridal boutique, Fabian Lim as my Videographer, Eugene from Chris Ling as my Actual Day Photographer and Chris as my photoshoot photographer.
so with a brief history here.. we will try to put up more pictures as the wedding gets nearer and really near is the word. and more updates too...
